The Breeding Program
Novel super-grapes for high-end markets
The Bazak breeding program is developing a basket of aromatic grapes - green, black and red - carrying new flavors: Muscat, mango, berries and passion fruit. The aim is added quality end to end: higher yields, fewer postharvest losses, healthier fruit, and uniqueness with real economic value for local and worldwide markets.
We need flavor, not only sweetness. Taste matters more than size - not heavy or foxy flavor, but refined flavor, of increasing importance in the EU and US markets.
Cultivars are offered for outright acquisition - and the sale carries a holistic package: advanced growing technologies, fertigation protocols, integrated pest and disease management, and postharvest technologies, with know-how transfer led by Bazak Agro Innovation.
